Thanks Mario for a great video. I think that once people get the hang of moving those files around, it’s a great free option and undoubtedly is a time saver.
I use Backup Buddy myself and the advantage with that is it saves my theme and plugin settings.

Mario, this has been extremely helpful. I always felt unsure about which file was which and just guessed mostly. My trial and error system took way too much time and was very frustrating. (I hate to admit, that I have two or three sites that are just hopelessly stuck in this beginning phase.)Thanks so much for taking the time to lay out this challenging step in such a clear manner. I have watched your video several times. I took notes and now have a much better understanding of what to do. You are a champion!
Mario, this was a great video. I am new to all of this and just signed up, so I’m a little behind everyone else. I was having the same problem as Tanyanies, and didn’t know what to do, so I went to the forum and found you and your video. It was a great help and I want to thank you very very much. Thank you so much for this video. It was a great timesaver because I have a SLOW satelite internet connection (downside to living in the country!) Now I can just upload one time! Yeah!
