Google Panda Update 2.2 What will it Bring to the Webmasters with unique content

Google Panda Update

During the SMX Conference in Seattle Matt Cutts Confirmed that their will be another update to Google Panda Update aka Farmer update.

Google’s Matt Cutts Confirmed during his questions and answers session with Danny Sullivan. Matt Cutt Said that the update has already been approved just has not been released to the public, but it will happen very soon.

What does that Mean to use bloggers?

Google Panda Update 2.2 will target the biggest complaint that most webmasters have including myself that scraper sites or sites that re-publish our content are out ranking the original content creators.

Matt Cutts Quotes ” A change has been approved that should help with that issue”

He also mentioned that they are constantly updated and tweaking the algorithm for Google Panda and that their is no exact date for Google Panda Update to go outside of the English-language searches.

Rest assured I’m really happy to see that Google is taking this type of action as an Internet Marketer watching other sites take my content and outrank me can be very annoying to say the least. I can’t wait for Google Panda Update 2.2 to go into effect.

    Hi Mario,

I am also so pleased the new Google Panda Update 2.2 will target those annoying scraper sites. We put in the effort and in some cases, they reap the rewards! Lets hope this update works effectively to "eradicate" or at least "slap" these sites

I would go with quality content, making it at least an article more original aka your own words will give it a better chance to rank on it’s own. Some will say using duplicate content on posts is ok because you are using it for filler content. I believe that this is naive way of thinking. If you are going to build a site make sure that your content is unique enough that every post can bring in more visitors to your site, which in turn they stay awhile and learn from you and maybe even buy something from one of your sites. 🙂

The topic is very hot and I see that many Internet marketer and companies are in panic. I think nothing to worry about, it is the same issue as Caffeine a year ago. For sure there will be rankings fluctuation for a week.

Nothing to worry about if you are doing real content driven sites. It's a bit stronger than caffeine actually. I think the panda had espresso shots lol

I've read the public declaration from Google which states that that Panda 2 update will be in power soon, that will likewise affect different than English 'languages' and will go worldwide. Since March, I gained a lot more top 10 Google rankings, as top positions become better and do not contain a great number of article directories, auto-blogs and redundant articles. I believe thats why, all around webmaster's and SEO message boards it had been known as "farmer update".

I agree, I'm actually loving these updates because webmasters that actually do the work and have content and not scrapped they will be favored more.
